ANNUAL PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT POSTER COMPETITION

For the last fifteen years, students from the Park School District have created the publicity posters for Imagine This!

205 entries were accepted from Park School District students grades K – 5, from which three cash winners were selected, and two Honorable mention awards. The Cultural Arts Council of Park thanks park School District staff for their support of annual poster competition, and acknowledge art teacher Valerie Bowles (Elementary) for her good work in the schools.

Judging was done on Monday February 11 and Arts Council board of directors Dave Schutz and Mary Murphy selected the winners from all entries. Winners were chosen for their creativity, composition, design and interpretation of this year’s Imagine This! theme “Catch the Magic“.

Winners are:

First Place: Aspen Turner, Grade 3
Second Place: Spencer McMillan, Grade 3
Third Place: Jessica Matthies, Grade 1

Honorable Mention Awards go to:
Piper Lasota, Grade 3
Nathan Richardson, Grade K

Awards will be presented at Imagine This! at 11:55 AM in the amount of first place at $25, second at $15 and third at $10 cash. All winners received ribbons.

The first place winner was used on the front of the festival’s annual program, a tradition of the competition.
