Imagine This!
POSTER COMPETITION

For the last nineteen years, students from the Park School District have created the publicity posters for the Cultural Arts Council's annual Imagine This!

110 entries were accepted from Park School District students grades K - 5, from which three cash winners were selected, and two honorable mention awards. The Cultural Arts Council of Park thanks Park School District staff for their support of annual poster competition, and acknowledge art teacher Valerie Bowles (Elementary) for her good work in the schools.

Judging was done on Wednesday February 15 and CAC board members Mary Murphy and Mike Oline together with staff member Lynda Vogel selected the winners from all entries. Winners were chosen for their creativity, composition, design and interpretation of this year's Imagine This! theme "On the Wild Side".

Winners are:
First Place: Sophie Greenway, Grade 4 $25 Cash
Second Place: Mackenzie Urban, Grade 4 $15 Cash
Third Place: Emily Urban, Grade 1 $10 Cash

Honorable Mention Awards go to
Luke Free, Grade K
Sage Schumate, Grade 3
Both honorable mention winners will receive a watercolor paint set.

Awards will be presented at Imagine This! at 12:15 PM on February 19. The first place winner was used on the front of the festival's annual program, a tradition of the competition. All 110 posters will be on display at Imagine This!
