Musical diversity is one of Lynn Skinner's finest assets. Originally from Denver, Lynn spent most of the '70s singing choral, classical, musical theatre, and pop styles in Los Angeles, Tacoma, and Seattle. In 1978 she earned a B.A. in music and began appearing as a singer/songwriter in the Seattle area. Lynn returned to Denver in the early '80s, eager to take on jazz and improvisational music. She has since established herself nationally as a dynamic jazz and eclectic vocalist with a 3 1/2 octave range. She also enjoys presenting theme concerts of other artists from around the world.
For over 30 years, Lynn has toured as a performing artist and voice coach in such places as New York, Boston, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Boise, San Francisco, Portland, Santa Fe, St. Louis, The British Isles, and France.
In the recording studio, Lynn has been a leader and background vocalist on nearly a dozen projects.
